Aaron L. Shields was born in San Francisco, California and raised in the Bay Area. He attended California State University at Chico, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Aaron earned his law degree at Gonzaga University, graduating cum laude in 1996. While in law school, he was an Associate Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review and a Law Clerk to US District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
Since graduating from Gonzaga University, Aaron has served as a Law Clerk for Snohomish County Superior Court, a Deputy Prosecutor for Snohomish County, and has been in private practice since 2001. Aaron currently serves as a pro tem judge in several Snohomish County courts.
Aaron is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Snohomish County Bar Association, and the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He represents individuals in Snohomish, Island, Skagit and San Juan counties.
